DESIGN AND ENGINEERING
The prefabrication process involves coordination between the project structural engineer and our specialty structural engineer to translate building dead and live loads into panel requirements. Cold-formed metal studs (CFMS) along with supplemental hollow structural sections (HSS) are evaluated to determine best use. Wall and floor deflections, panel attachment methods, shear walls, structural versus non-structural walls and partitions are all addressed in our process.
BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING
Klover’s team of experienced AutoDesk Revit® designers are well versed in using BIM for design, clash detection, and manufacturing. Our ability to assist design professionals and contractors with creating a digital model to identify conflicts between framed openings, bracing requirements, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components eliminates a multitude of design and constructability issues common to site-built structures.
We also use BIM as manufacturing equipment inputs, greatly improving the quality and precision of our wall assemblies. Klover is proud to offer 3D services with Level 400 design that include complete fabrication, assembly, and construction detail information, including the ability to provide “as-built” drawings upon request.
