Our Story

Growing Together.
Building Better.

Klover’s story began in 1991 with a small team, a strong work ethic, and a belief that there was always a better way to build. What started with hands-on commercial carpentry has grown into an award-winning construction company serving Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, and communities throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Along the way, we never forgot where we came from. The lessons learned in the field, listening to customers, solving problems together, and taking pride in the work still guide us today. More than 35 years later, that builder’s mentality has helped Klover complete more than 1,600 projects and earn regional and national recognition for craftsmanship, innovation, and construction excellence.

Today, Klover brings together experienced craftspeople, advanced prefabrication, manufacturing, engineering, and cutting-edge BIM technology to solve increasingly complex construction challenges. Our BIM teams can virtually build and coordinate projects before materials reach our shop or crews arrive in the field, helping identify challenges earlier and connecting design, fabrication, logistics, and installation into one coordinated process. From prefabricated wall systems and commercial carpentry to mission-critical data centers, healthcare, education, multifamily, pharmaceutical, and public infrastructure projects, we continue to evolve how we build while staying committed to the fundamentals that built our reputation. That combination of innovation and execution has helped earn Klover honors including ABC Excellence in Construction recognition and the 2025 ABC National Eagle Award for Construction Excellence.

But Klover has never been defined by buildings alone. We are defined by our people. We invest in apprenticeships, continuing education, technical training, mentorship, internships, leadership development, and partnerships with schools and industry organizations because the future of construction depends on the people we prepare today. Across our field crews, prefabrication shop, BIM and technical teams, project management, leadership, office staff, and remote employees, there is a shared sense that every role matters and every person contributes to what we build. People come to Klover from different backgrounds and build careers here, passing knowledge from one generation of craftspeople and leaders to the next.

Whether we are in the field, in the shop, in the office, or working remotely, we are one team, one family, and ONE KLOVER.

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions
About Building Information Modeling

1. What does Klover Contracting do?

Klover is a commercial construction and prefabrication company serving the Mid-Atlantic region. Our capabilities include prefabrication, panel installation, commercial carpentry, BIM and technical services, project services, and specialty construction solutions. We work across markets including data centers, healthcare, education, multifamily, pharmaceutical, commercial, and public infrastructure.

2. Where does Klover provide commercial construction and prefabrication services?

Klover serves customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic, with projects across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Delaware, and surrounding markets. Our teams support owners, developers, general contractors, and construction partners with both conventional field construction and advanced off-site prefabrication. This regional presence allows us to bring local experience and scalable construction capabilities to complex projects.

3. What makes Klover different from other commercial construction companies?

Klover combines decades of hands-on construction experience with prefabrication, BIM coordination, advanced manufacturing, and field installation. Because our shop, technical teams, project managers, and field crews work together, we can identify constructability challenges earlier and develop solutions before they impact the jobsite. Our goal is to provide greater schedule certainty, quality, safety, and efficiency from preconstruction through installation.

4. How does Klover use BIM technology in construction and prefabrication?

Klover uses Building Information Modeling (BIM) to virtually coordinate and build complex assemblies before they are fabricated or installed. Our BIM specialists coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP information while considering individual framing members, penetrations, panelization, transportation, crane picks, and field installation. This digital-to-field workflow helps connect design, engineering, prefabrication, logistics, and construction into one coordinated process.

5. Why is prefabrication important to Klover?

Prefabrication allows Klover to move significant portions of construction into a controlled shop environment where quality, safety, sequencing, and productivity can be carefully managed. Assemblies can be manufactured while other construction activities continue on-site, helping reduce field labor requirements and accelerate project schedules. Klover has made a significant investment in prefabrication because we believe building smarter before arriving at the jobsite creates greater certainty for our customers.

6. How does Klover support construction education and workforce development?

Klover invests in apprenticeships, field training, mentorship, internships, continuing education, and leadership development to help build the next generation of construction professionals. Our four-year carpenter apprenticeship program combines classroom education with hands-on experience across disciplines including framing, drywall, finishing, ceilings, finish carpentry, and panel installation. Experienced craftspeople and field trainers share decades of knowledge so employees can continue developing their skills and building long-term careers.

7. What is it like to be part of the Klover team?

Klover was built on the belief that great construction starts with great people, and that philosophy continues as the company grows. From apprentices and journeypersons to superintendents, shop professionals, BIM specialists, project managers, support staff, and company leadership, every role contributes to the finished product. Whether working in the field, shop, office, or remotely, we operate as one team with a shared commitment to each other, our customers, and the work we build.
